Sleek and typical Logitech September 29, 2007 David M (Zionsville, IN USA) 30 out of 32 found this review helpful
First, it's a multi-plug connector for USB. Pretty mundane. But beautiful and functional.
Now past the ordinary. It is a sleekly designed 4-port hub with a light indicator for each live connection. Helpful to ensure the plug is properly seated. It is very compact which means it can fit in your shirt pocket -- snugly perhaps. While there are cheaper ones, the build quality, as well as the cosmetic appearance, are traditional high quality that we've come to expect from Logitech.
I have used mine with G4, G5, and MacBook Pro computers, and it functions flawlessly.
One small performance variation, when left plugged in a few days, a new plug was inserted and it wasn't active. I unplugged the hub and re-plugged it in, and everything was fine. I think it was due to the vagaries of the USB interface, since it hasn't happened again since.
I would quickly buy another if I needed one.

I've been using this usb hub for about a month, and everything works great.
It's very smal, and portable can fit into your pocket. If you're looking for a notebook usb hub, this one is a right choice
A Logical Choice July 18, 2008 Ryan Z. Chu 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've tried a variety of USB hubs, most of which were disappointing. With USB hubs, the biggest issue you are likely to run into, is consistency. Many cheaper hubs either work, or malfunctions right off bat. Others surprise you by dropping peripherals. All this amounts to a waste of time bundled with the added inconvenience of having to return defective hubs and or buying new ones only to confront another cycle of inconsistency.
In a nutshell, my opinion is to pay slightly more for a dramatically better product (or something that actually works). The Logitech 4-port Hub is well-built, slick, and as far as I'm concerned, very reliable. I have plugged 2 500GB hard-drives, along with a MIDI keyboard and a mouse to the hub (occupying all four slots), and I haven't experienced any dropping of peripherals or compromised transfer speeds for my hard-drives. (Hub connected to my MacBook Pro)
All this translates to more productivity and less time wasted looking for something that works. For me, the search for a USB hub is over. The Logitech is everything I need it to be.
Nice product. April 9, 2008 S. Litchfield 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This 4-port hub is very compact and works as one would expect. Standard size flash drives will fit side-by-side, but with no clearance. Practically speaking, it works best with only two devices attached, but will hold additional devices if attached by a cable. If you plan on using all four ports, you might need the optional power cable available from Logitec. It worked fine for me with two flash drives and an i-pod nano attached. I give it five stars even though it would be nice if the ports were an eighth of any inch farther apart. Update: without the optional power cable, it doesn't have enough juice to charge my 2nd gen ipod Touch even if the ipod is the only thing plugged in.
Excellent Compact USB Hub April 19, 2008 Raymond E. Montgomery (Oklahoma City) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The Logitech Premium 4-port USB hub is excellent, its compact size adds to versitility, whether with a desktop or laptop and aids in space consumption for travel. I highly recommend.
