Competative Price, Comact Size, Works Perfectly! November 11, 2009 Gyropilot (Seattle, WA, USA) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I'm using this to power 4 Panasonic BB-HCM531A outdoor networked security cameras from the PoE ports. I also have a laptop connected to it running security recorder software. It's connected to my home network running perfectly, passing the video data streams from the cameras. It's on 24/7 and doesn't run hot. I like the metal case, compact size, status indicator LEDs on the front, and the generous cord length supplied on the external power adapter. The current price is quite good when compared to other PoE capable switches available on the market.
Works well September 14, 2009 Paul Ohm (Orlando, FL) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I bought this only for the 4 PoE ports included, and they work well as far as I can tell. I have been using them to power 4 AV3105 security cameras and they have been working great for that purpose while also putting those IP cameras on my network for easy accessibility.
Best POE switch in price range April 20, 2010 T. Murgulia (Tbilisi, Georgia) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This switch is great. Like other cases, mine is working 24/7 last 6 months without single restart. I'm using all four POE ports for SIP phones. Only wish is newer Gigabit version - while SIP phones don't need it, faster speeds will be perfect upgrade for computers and draft-n router.
Great POE entry switch February 1, 2010 Jack V. Briner (Summerville, SC USA) Cheap. Reliable so far. Traffic handling appears good. Will work well for up to low power 4 PoE devices. Works on our phones. Quiet. Would have like Gb ports.
Good value for the money July 3, 2010 John Collins I just have it powering one Trendnet TV-IP522p IP camera, but it works fine. Nice metal box (God, how I hate plastic), LONG power cord (6' 110V cord + 6' small DC cord from transformer brick).
